Uniqme provides assurance to a service of individuality, uniqueness and a connection with a human - without that service needing to collect personally-identifying information. One person, one account, provably - and the service never learns who the person is.
How it works
- The user verifies their identity once with Raytio, from a chip-verified document.
- When your service asks, Raytio derives a service-specific identifier - a salted one-way hash of the verified identity.
- The same person always produces the same identifier for your service, so duplicates are detected - but identifiers cannot be correlated across services, because each service has its own salt.
- Your service learns exactly one thing: this is a real, unique human. Nothing else.
