Operate

The business systems are built in.

Raytio Operate provides the systems a business needs to transact with the customers it has verified: onboarding, quoting, ordering, billing, sales, projects and devices - all running against the same verified parties, the same permissions, and the same audit trail.

Business problems solved

Verification and operations live in different systems

You verify a customer in one tool, then re-create them in five others.

Integration is where projects die

Every extra vendor is another sync, another auth model, another failure mode.

Usage-based businesses outgrow their billing

Spreadsheets and hand-raised invoices don't scale with metered products.

Features

Configurable forms with conditional logic, and no coding required. Embed them in your own site, white-labelled with your branding. Submissions arrive encrypted to your organisation.

Billing covers plans, usage and payment collection, with trials, overrides and upgrades included.

  • Plans with entitlements and quotas.
  • Metered usage events aggregated to invoices.
  • Payment collection by card through a payment processor.

Pricing flows through to quotes and confirmed orders.

  • Price lists with versions, tiers and customer-specific rules.
  • Multi-version quotes.
  • Quote-to-order conversion.

Sales covers the pipeline from first contact to a generated quote.

  • Lead capture, de-duplication and scoring.
  • Pipelines and deal stages.
  • Quote generation from deals.
  • Activity tracking.

Epics, tasks and milestones with dependencies. Baselines and variance tracking show how a plan has drifted, and work syncs with external systems.

List services, publish offers, take bookings with real-time availability.

Connect IoT devices for businesses whose services are physical. Provisioning, certificates, remote commands and live events are all handled.

Several integration paths are built in.

  • Inbound webhooks with signature validation.
  • Outbound notifications.
  • PDF reports generated and emailed.
  • JSON and CSV import and export.

Fine-grained, relationship-based permissions decide who sees what, down to the field - the same model that governs our AI agents.

Benefits

One counterparty record

The party you verified is the party you quote, bill and deliver to.

Fewer moving parts

Fewer vendors, fewer syncs, fewer places for data to leak.

An audit trail with no gaps

From first form to final invoice.

The modules

Operate is the platform Raytio itself runs on rather than a thin integration layer. Each module is API-first and shares the same parties, permissions and audit trail:

Foundation

Multi-tenancy, scheduled jobs, notifications, documents and attachments, reference data, report templates, inbound webhooks.

Authorisation

Roles, hierarchies and relationship-based access control down to field level.

Parties & merchants

Organisations, people, brands, locations, contact points, relationships; merchant configuration and inbound email.

Catalogue & pricing

Items, attributes, categories; price lists with versions, tiers, rules and party-specific pricing.

Billing & receivables

Subscriptions, entitlements, quotas, metered usage, invoice generation, cash receipts and receipt schedules.

Quotes & orders

Multi-version quotes and quote-to-order conversion.

Sales

Leads with de-duplication and scoring, pipelines, deals, activities.

Projects & work

Epics, tasks, milestones, dependencies, baselines, external system sync.

Workers

The AI worker management described under Agents - same platform, same permissions.

Devices

IoT provisioning, certificates, commands and event ingestion.

A complete development platform

Under the modules sits a multi-tenant platform with the enterprise machinery already built - the parts that usually consume the first year of any serious system:

Multi-tenant, multi-organisation

Tenants are isolated at the database layer, through row-level security rather than application code. Each tenant can hold many organisations with their own users, roles and data.

Languages and currencies

Internationalised labels and content throughout, and multi-currency pricing and billing, built in from the start.

Authorisation

Role-based and relationship-based access control down to field level, applied identically to humans, integrations and AI agents.

Feature management

Entitlements, quotas and usage metering gate features by plan, customer or tenant. Time-bound overrides and trials are included.

Workflow and batch jobs

Workflow runs on state-machine transitions with notifications, and can trigger follow-up requests. Scheduled jobs and bulk interface processing handle background work. Batch jobs can call any HTTP endpoint, so custom logic slots in without touching the platform - your code, on your infrastructure, scheduled and monitored by ours.

Schema and database-driven UI

The interface is driven from the schema and the database - extend the data model and the whole interface follows, without custom screens.

  • The query shape.
  • The visual layout - lists, forms and Kanban boards.
  • The menus.
  • The permissions.
Extensible by default

Every resource carries typed extensible attributes and attachments. Arbitrary data, attributes and objects can be added to any record, and they appear through the UI in a cohesive manner.

Run it your way

Run the platform fully managed by Raytio, or self-hosted on your own AWS infrastructure, provisioned entirely from infrastructure as code. It is the same platform either way, in your cloud, with your data residency. An EU zone with all infrastructure and data staying within the EU is planned for the managed service.
