Product & service catalogue

One item catalogue powering browse, compare, quote, and book journeys.

Raytio Catalog represents every sellable, bookable, or comparable item in a consistent, tenant-scoped model. A single master item register connects to a browsable category hierarchy, an extensible typed-attribute system, item relationships, and the calls-to-action shown in the marketplace - so a catalogue answers what exists, how it is organised, and what a user can do with each item.

Capabilities

Master item register

Products, services, plans, credit bundles and category nodes share one item model. Each item carries identity keys, attributes, behavioural flags and ownership.

Constraint-guarded hierarchy

Structural constraints guarantee a valid browse tree.

  • One category parent per item.
  • No cycles.
  • No self-references.
Extensible typed attributes

Attribute definitions carry data type, validation, search and filter flags, and display configuration. New attributes are added without schema changes.

Attribute summaries for comparison

Compact per-item summaries retrieve attributes efficiently for side-by-side marketplace comparison.

Item relationships

Items relate as substitutes, accessories and bundles. Add-to-order and remove-from-order flags enable one-click swaps.

Inherited calls-to-action

Calls-to-action such as Compare, Get a Quote and Book Now are defined on an item or on its nearest category ancestor. A whole category shares CTAs without duplication.

Notable details

Public marketplace visibility

Categories, services and items on a public price list are visible without login.

Internationalisation

User-facing text supports locale-specific translations.
