Funds transfer & payments

Payment processing, connected funds accounts, and privacy-protected transaction data.

Raytio Payments connects the platform to external payment processors, represents the payment instruments customers use, and records accounts retrieved from account-information providers - balances, parties, statuses and transactions. Account and transaction data is exposed through privacy-protected views, so financial detail can be shared without leaking exact identifiers or positions.

Capabilities

Processors separate from credentials

Processors register as named providers; keys and secrets are managed separately so credentials rotate without changing the processor.

Tokenised payment methods

Cards, direct debits, wallets and transfers are stored without full numbers. Only the last four digits, a fingerprint and a processor token are kept.

Fraud-monitoring signals

Address, postal-code and CVC verification results are recorded per method, along with 3-D Secure support.

Connected funds accounts

Accounts retrieved from providers follow open-banking patterns for status, currency, usage and type.

Consent-governed access

Access consents record the provider, granting institution, permission set and access period before any data is retrieved.

Balances and detailed transactions

Balances follow standard balance types, and each transaction carries full detail.

  • Amounts and a running balance.
  • Dual provider and institution references.
  • Standardised categorisation.
  • Currency conversion detail.
Privacy-protected public views

Public views protect privacy in four ways.

  • Identifiers are replaced with privacy-safe values.
  • Amounts are rounded.
  • Timestamps are reduced to dates.
  • Free-text descriptions are omitted.

Notable details

Standardised categorisation

Every transaction carries a three-level bank transaction code plus a merchant category code.

Dual identifiers

Provider and institution references allow reconciliation between two views of the same transaction.
