Know One - verifiable credentials
Public, verifiable credentials you can present anywhere.
Raytio provides Know One so a person can present public, cryptographically verifiable credentials - an identity card, a verified fact, a badge - without exposing the underlying data. A credential can prove a fact is true (over 18) while choosing whether to reveal the value, and anyone can check the signature.
How it works
- The user selects verified facts on their profile and generates a credential bundle.
- The bundle is signed by Raytio and turned into a short link and QR code.
- For each fact, the bundle either proves the value true or discloses it - the holder chooses.
- Organisations can define badge rules (combinations of facts, including derived facts like age) that award a separate signed badge when satisfied.
- A recipient scans the link and verifies the signature against Raytio's published public key - no account, no API call to us.
Why Raytio
Assert a fact is true without exposing the original value - the badge is worth trusting because Raytio verified the fact behind it.
Signed with hardware-held keys whose public half is published; anyone can verify without contacting Raytio.
The model maps to W3C Verifiable Credentials and Open Badges, so credentials can interoperate with external wallets.
Verified customers, protected data, and agents you can hold to account.
