Raytio provides browser-based biometric checks that confirm you're dealing with a live human who matches their identity document. No app install is required - just a camera-enabled browser on any device.
How it works
- During data capture, the user's camera activates in their browser - they can hop to another device without re-entering data.
- For liveness, the user records a short video and performs prompted actions, confirmed in real time.
- For audio-matched liveness, the user reads aloud a unique code shown on screen - defeating pre-recorded video.
- For face match, the document portrait is compared with the live capture and returns a probability score, so you set your own threshold.
